In Ontario and in Great Britain (within a week of each other) the governments announced that they were giving greater control back to the communities so they can have more say in wind energy projects.
Does anyone else find that a bit TOO coincidental? Is that happening in other places like Australia or Germany? Denmark?
What do you think?

Although the UK Government has announced that they are giving greater control to communities they also announced that there will be greater community benefits (ie bribes) to nearby householders like reduced electric bills or community projects, presumably hoping that more people will support building these metal monstrosities.
Also this greater control excludes those living in Scotland, where the Scottish Devolved Government is committed to having 100% renewables by 2030 and 50% by 2020.
